This concert-essay tells, from the musician's perspective, about what it takes to surrender to music and to become one's full musical self.
It explores the relationship between trusted teacher and eager student. It dabbles in solfege and other native musical languages, and it asserts and upholds the science behind the notion that musicians' minds are different and special.
A true love song to our musician colleagues, the program will include works by ALL FOUR of Choral Chameleon's Composers-In-Residence thus far, as well as a surprise premiere or two on top!
At the center: Adam Ward's exquisite choral setting of texts from the famed book "Gradus ad Parnassum" for choir and cello - truly a piece not to be missed!
